1.) Keep the blue plastic on the external side of skins
until you're done riveting - they get scratched very easily.
2.) Do the edge finishing of the ribs just as the instructions
call for: before you flute and drill them. It's much easier to file down a straight
edge than one with bends in it.
3.) Get a
swivel flush rivet set. No Smilies!
4.) Use a drill motor with a slow speed, high-torque setting
when countersinking larger holes (IE, #6 and #8 holes in the wing spars). The countersinks
will come out much smoother.
