07 SEP 07 - Rear
HS Spar and Stiffners - 2.0 HRS
I finished deburring and rounding the ends of the HS spar stiffners (609-PP).
I got a double cut milling file from Home Depot which made filing much quicker.
I then final drilled all of the holes where 609-PP attaches to the rear HS spar
to #30. The Sioux drill is great! Quiet, light, and precise.

Final drilling #30 rear spar and stiffners.
Earlier in the day, I went to Sherwin Williams to pick up some gasp.... primer!

I ended up with a little more than just a couple of rattle cans of primer. All things
I needed, of course. I know, 5 gallons of MEK? Well, SAMS Club has taught me one
thing.... better to buy in bulk. 5 GAL MEK was only $35.00! My local Home Depot didn't
even have Gallon containers of MEK and if they would've I bet it would've been $15.00.
I got some thick gloves because I know I'll eventually need them for mixing Proseal,
etc - these are 15 mil thick, 50 per box for $10.00.

Check this thingamajigger out - it's a stirrer/dispenser/seal for gallon cans of
paint. I plan on using it on my gallon cans of AKZO. You seal the can with the levers
on the side, stir using the blue handle (or you can remove it and attach a drill),
and then pour using the thumb-trigger. How's that for multi-functional? $9.00/ea
at SW.
