and Empennage Kit Arrive (2.0 hours)
I received my tool order today. I ordered the toolkit from
Isham (Planetools.com). I am very impressed with the customer service and
the fast shipping. I will be posting more details on the toolkit on the
Tools page.
Later on that day - much to my suprise - my empennage kit arrived!
One thing I was suprised about was the cost of shipping - $113.52!
I completed the inventory and put the parts away. I am still in process of finding
a good method for storing everything for quick access later.
The empennage skins all come bundled together as shown here. Van's uses ducktape
to hold everything together, but it tends to stick to the blue protective plastic.
Oh well, I'll be removing it all shortly andway.
