What's an RV-8?
This is a website that documents my efforts in building a
Van's RV-8. An RV-8 is an aluminum hombuilt aircraft. I will be building
a taildragger with a 200HP engine and an EFIS equipped cockpit.
Why?
I have always been fascinated by the idea of building my own airplane. Once it is
done, I will have a fast, economical airplane for much less than can be had on the
certified market. And I will know my ship from spinner to tail.
